For new participants only, SABAH is now offering Icebreaker Sessions!  These sessions offer individuals challenged by disability the opportunity to try SABAH’s adaptive ice skating (including ice skates, helmets, and all adaptive equipment) for free!

Icebreaker sessions, available just a few times a year, will serve to introduce individuals with special needs, of any age, to SABAH’s adaptive ice skating programs. Join with other SABAH athletes and volunteers for an enjoyable and welcoming experience that will give you a glimpse of SABAH’s Evening and Weekend programs (offered at four rink locations in the Western New York region from October through April) and Summer Skates (offered at the Bud Bakewell Riverside Rink from July through August).

The next Icebreaker session will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Bud Bakewell Riverside Rink in Buffalo.  Space is limited to 20 participants per session… so don’t hesitate!  Sign up today!
