Adopt an Athlete
Each year, SABAH relies on the support of many guests of the annual Starlight Night Auction and Gala to “Adopt an Athlete,” at the conclusion of the live auction. For a donation of $250, guests of the Gala can support a SABAH athlete for an entire season. As a result of the ongoing pandemic, SABAH was, once again, forced to cancel the live portion of the event and shift the auction to an online format. As a result, our Adopt an Athlete campaign is more important that ever!

Over the past year, SABAH innovatively created an outdoor program, the “Outdoor Series,” in response to the pandemic. As an outdoor program, SABAH athletes could more safely be physically active by participating in snowshoeing, nature hikes, birding, and beach walks in the region’s state parks. Over the past summer, SABAH began to phase in its typical array of six adaptive recreational programs on ice and a sport court surface.
