Congratulations to our first inductees in the SABAH Hall of Fame, Ron and Diana Papa. Ron and Diana have made an incredible impact on the SABAH organization over the last decade. Ron is currently Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, a passionate spokesperson, and corporate show sponsor. Ron continues to open doors for us in both the corporate and foundation communities and is the “go to” guy in good times and bad. He has also provided practical guidance based upon decades of business experience.
Ron and Diana are generous personal donors to our organization and were instrumental in launching the first Planned Giving Event to ensure SABAH’s permanence in Western New York and aggressively helped to promote SABAH’s “Home of Miracles” Telethon, where they appeared as a featured family.
They have served as honorary chairs of our Auction and Gala and annually donate their homes to help raise funds for our organization. Diana has been a long time, on-ice volunteer for SABAH and each year serves on the auction committee where she has been instrumental in the growth and success of this event.
Ron and Diana became involved in SABAH when their daughter, Stacey, began skating sixteen years ago. Since that time, they have dedicated many hours of service to SABAH and care deeply about the success of the organization. Ron and Diana’s service to SABAH is all the more remarkable in light of their very busy schedule which includes five grandchildren. Ron is also President of NFA – National Fire Adjustment Co., Inc., a company dedicated to helping individuals and businesses in the aftermath of a fire or disaster.
We are so honored to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Papa as the first inductees of SABAH’s Hall of Fame!
