The 2012 Inductee to the Hall of Fame is one of SABAH’s most devoted fathers, Mr. Brian F. Costello. Well known in the business community as the owner of Diversified Manufacturing, Inc., Brian is better known as CC’s dad in the SABAH world. CC, whose real name is Cassandra, arrived at the North Buffalo Rink in 2003 with Brian by her side. Since then, the two have arrived hand in hand every Tuesday afternoon during the SABAH season. “Watching CC and Brian enjoy sharing “their time” together each week is one of the most beautiful sights you see at SABAH,” states Executive Director Sheila O’Brien. They share a very special father-daughter bond that makes CC light up when they are together.”
Brian’s devotion to his daughter led him to offer more and more support to SABAH. In addition to carving time out of his busy schedule at DWI to bring CC to DABAh, Brian also accepted a position on the Board of Directors in 2006. Brian’s support has extended beyond his leadership on the Board and includes his company’s production of many of the walkers utilized by SABAH. Through his company, Brian is also an annual major Celebration on Ice show sponsor, a Starlight Night Auction and Gala sponsor, and a passionate community advocate. A man with many friends, Brian also corrals over two dozen of his closest acquaintances and brings them to the auction each year. These enthusiastic bidders are among the primary reasons the annual event continues to raise new levels of funding for SABAH programs.
