In order to provide a program which maximizes outcomes for our school aged children challenged by disability, SABAH is gratefully asking for your consideration of funding of $5,000 per class for the upcoming season. Sponsorship of a class provides ice time fees, additional and/or replacement adaptive equipment (helmets, adaptive ice skates, walkers, Rifton Walkers, etc.), instructor fees, and Celebration on Ice show costs.

Costs of sponsorship for one class for one season include:

“SABAH Tuesday is something that we look forward to week after week and it motivates our students to make positive decisions in order to earn that special opportunity. There is also a direct correlation between attentiveness after our skating sessions. Students are more attentive and engaged after getting so much gross motor output.”

– Teacher participating in the SDAIS program

“Well, I cant say enough about this program and all the benefits it offers to our students. Their smiles on the ice, are one hundred percent worth all the work we (teachers, volunteers, staff, etc) put into this program. SABAH has offered so much to our students and our parents are amazed with their progress: academically, socially, and physically!”

BENEFITS OF SPONSORSHIP

In response to your generosity, SABAH will provide many opportunities for your foundation to meet and interact with the students in your class during the season. Additonal benefits include:

“SABAH is a wonderful adjunct to our physical therapy and academic programs. It fosters an environment of socialization, empathy, consideration of others, academics, physical endurance, and kindness.”

– Teacher participating in the SDAIS program

“Many of the academic skills presented during our skating sessions help us maintain the ELA and math skills that we
currently have. Being able to practice those skills through physical movement provides them with a different mode than
could be provided within the classroom and there they are more engaged and willing to review those skills.”
